Over the years, other products produced at AutoAlliance have included the Mazda MX-6, the Ford Probe, the Mazda 626 and the Mercury Cougar. The AutoAlliance facility occupies more than 400 acres in Flat Rock, Michigan, 50 of which (or 2.7 million square feet) are buildings. AutoAlliance employs more than 3,700 people, many of whom live in the Downriver area.
